Supportive Services for Veteran Families at Catholic Charities intends to help veterans or their spouses obtain and maintain stable housing by overcoming and addressing housing barriers.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families at Catholic Charities intends to help veterans or their spouses obtain and maintain stable housing by overcoming and addressing housing barriers.
Qualifications to receive services:
1. Be single or part of a family in which the head of the household, or spouse, is a Veteran.
2. Any Veteran who has served at least 24 hours of active duty and has any discharge status other than Dishonorable.
3. The Veteran family is considered low-income, defined as earning 80% or less of the Area Median Income. Determination of income status can be found at https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/il.html.
4. Veteran or Veteran Family must be at risk of losing housing or currently homeless.
5. Live in one of these 25 counties served by Catholic Charities’ Supportive Services for Veteran Families:
Allen, Bourbon, Butler, Chase, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Cowley, Crawford, Elk, Greenwood, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Labette, Marion, McPherson, Montgomery, Morris, Neosho, Reno, Rice, Sedgwick, Sumner, Wilson and Woodson.
