Introduced in early 2023, Servants of Hope is Catholic Charities’ recurring giving program.
Recurring gifts, made on a monthly or quarterly basis, provide Catholic Charities with stable income throughout the year, and are essential in helping us accurately forecast and budget for the needs of our ministries.

Inspired by St. Jude, Patron Saint for the Hopeless and Despaired
As the costs of daily living continues to rise, so too do the needs of our community, resulting in our services being more in-demand than ever before. More people in our community are feeling hopeless and desperate.
St. Jude’s ability to manifest miracles in the most hopeless of circumstances was the inspiration for Servants of Hope. Many of our clients feel this way; like they are in the midst of an impossible situation, desperate for some kind of hope. The generosity of recurring donors helps Catholic Charities offer our clients the hope that they need.

The logo explained
The Servants of Hope logo is a simple depiction of St. Jude, featuring several elements often associated with him. The flame represents the Holy Spirit that St. Jude received at the first Pentecost, while the green cloak symbolizes hope and renewal. The solid gold circle represents the medallion that St. Jude is traditionally depicted holding, related to the story of King Agbar of Edessa. Finally, the blue heart and cross are borrowed from Catholic Charities’ Faithful Servant Fund.
