Adult Day Services at Catholic Charities provides an affordable, quality day program, helping adults with disabilities and seniors maintain independence in the community.
With the goal of helping individuals acquire, maintain and enhance daily living skills to maintain independence and remain involved in their local communities, we focus on meeting the needs of each person through group and individual activities, socialization, community involvement and educational programs.
Program services include care coordination, transportation, nursing services, meals and a wide array of activities and outings.
Families and caregivers are encouraged to tour our facilities and talk to our staff. Contact us today to schedule a tour or stop by our main location (5920 W. Central Ave).
Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Activities
Designed to meet individual needs and promote socialization, dignity and independence. Program participants help select and plan activities.
Community Outings
Recreational and educational outings and activities within the community.
Nursing Services
On-site registered nurse assists with medications, health assessments and referrals.
Nutrition
Two nutritious meals and an afternoon snack are provided each day. Special meals are also available for clients with dietary restrictions.
Transportation
Provided to and from the center for people who qualify and live within the Wichita city limits.
Seniors
Aging Seniors: Designed for adults 55 years or older. Offering daily activities and services to assist seniors in maintaining independence, opportunities for socialization and community connectivity.
Seniors with Alzheimer’s/Dementia: Designed to help clients maintain physical and social health.

Fees and Pricing
Adult Day Services is a non-profit organization providing quality, affordable care with the goal to help the individual maintain independence and prolong the need for nursing home or other non-community based placements.
Fees include: the day of service, transportation, medication management by a licensed nurse, care coordination, activities and two meals and snacks each day.
Daily fees are $75 with a minimum of 2 days per week required for continuity of care.
For those persons who are without funding or insurance, a sliding fee scale made available for those who demonstrate financial need.
On average persons who are eligible for the sliding fee scale pay $25/a day. The Sliding fee scale is made possible through the generosity of United Way and Sedgwick County Mill Levy Dollars as well as donations
Catholic Charities Adult Day Services is licensed as an adult care home and meets the standards of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services. It is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027), and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
