Senior Day Services

A bridge of extra support for individuals desiring to age in place

Our day program for aging individuals (55+) living with cognitive decline, isolation, or loneliness focuses on building community and maintaining health.

We provide daily adult care for aging adults.

The program offers daily opportunities for socialization and community connectivity, helping participants maintain physical and social health.

Eligibility

Our senior day program is designed for adults age 55 and older who are navigating cognitive challenges due to neurodegenerative health conditions, isolation or loneliness.

Services are available from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a minimum participation requirement of two days per week to ensure continuity of care.

Programming includes:

  • Group and individual activities
  • Social outings and transportation
  • Community service and outreach
  • Memory based programs

Features of Our Senior Program

Our senior program participants help plan their daily activities.

Many senior participants enjoy helping to plan their own activities alongside those led by our onsite activities coordinator, creating a sense of purpose and achievement. The coordinator brings these plans to life with a diverse and well-balanced program.

Our on-staff nurse offers compassionate, on-site support.

Our full-time nurse allows us to provide basic nursing services, including medication management, monthly weight and blood pressure checks, and serves as a communication liaison for caregivers and families.

Two hot meals are available daily.

Breakfast meals are available each morning from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Hot lunch is provided for all participants each day the building is open, as well as an afternoon snack. These nutritious meals give caregivers one less thing to coordinate and worry about, letting them skip the stress of meal logistics.

Campus amenities include outdoor areas.

A popular feature of Adult Day Services is our large, accessible outdoor recreation area. This outdoor space includes:

  • A canopy-covered picnic area
  • A water feature
  • A shaded gazebo with peaceful porch swings
  • A large multipurpose area used for a variety of activities

The entire outdoor area is fenced and encompassed by a wide, concrete walking path, promoting ideal exercise for seniors to safely improve balance, mobility and overall health.

The ADS campus houses two garden areas where participants take pride in planting, watering, and watching flowers and vegetables grow.
