Stability for veterans in need starts with housing
Having a stable place to live—with a bed to sleep in, a place to eat and a place to shower—gives veterans who may be struggling the foundation they need to focus on their challenges, whether it’s addiction, employment or other struggles. That stability builds confidence, impacts their well-being and increases their chances of success.
What to Expect
A safe home comes first, but our care reaches further
Funded by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, we help low-income veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness find and obtain permanent housing.
Once eligible veterans secure stable housing, we continue working alongside them, offering the tools, resources and support they need to maintain that stability and make it last.
We also focus on preventing homelessness for veterans and their families facing eviction who are struggling to make ends meet. By addressing challenges early, we help them avoid the crisis of losing their home altogether.
Our case management for veterans reduces the length of time they and their families are without permanent shelter. Our services cover 30 counties in Northeast, South Central and Southeast Kansas.
