Catholic Charities Wichita Expands Executive Team

(Wichita, Kan.) – Catholic Charities Wichita announces expanded executive team. LeAnne Miller, former senior director of operations, takes on the newly established position as the senior director of strategic growth. Diane Peltier, former director of grants was promoted to senior director of operations.

Rounding out the executive team includes senior director of finance Patrick Butler and executive director Traci Kennedy. The expansion comes in preparation for the July 1, 2024 implementation of the agency’s updated mission and vision strategic launch.

“This is an exciting time at Catholic Charities, and I am confident that this new structure will position us well for continued success as we launch an impressive strategic plan,” said Traci Kennedy, executive director of Catholic Charities of Wichita. “LeAnne and Diane’s leadership and teamwork are pivotal in driving the agency’s initiatives, ensuring that Catholic Charities effectively addresses the needs of those we serve.”

Prior to coming to Catholic Charities of Wichita, Miller served as vice president for Swanson House Fundraising Professionals; president and chief executive office or Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas; and vice president of advancement, director of corporate giving and Youthville chief advancement officer at EmberHope/Youthville, Inc. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from Wichita State University.

Peltier takes on role of senior director of operations

Peltier’s notable level of expertise in non-profit management and operations makes her suited to understand the complexities of the agency to maximize impact in the community. She will be responsible for agency operations and program service delivery, emphasizing mission effectiveness, compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

Peltier serves as an adjunct instructor of psychology at Wichita State University along with her new role as the senior director of operations and her previous role as the director of grants at Catholic Charities. She has also held positions at Prairie View, Inc. as the vice president of advancement, Holland Pathways as the executive director and HealthCore Clinic as the chief operating officer. Peltier holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Wichita State University.
