Congratulations to Brody Tickel, permanent stabilization specialist, who was recently selected to participate in the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Crawford County Class of 2025. The leadership cohort will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the local area’s opportunities and challenges while developing leadership skills that enable them to take an active role in improving the community for everyone.
Tickel plays an integral part in serving the homeless population through the Catholic Charities office in Pittsburg, Kan., which supports 11 counties across Southeastern Kansas. His dedication and leadership make a lasting impact on the lives of many people. We are proud to see his efforts recognized by the Chamber.

The Catholic Charities, Pittsburg office offers wraparound services designed to help individuals and families maintain stable housing while working toward sustainable, long-term goals. In addition to general housing support, the office provides specialized assistance for domestic violence survivors and veterans through targeted outreach programs including SAFE Project andSupportive Services for Veteran Families.
