Justin Dugan, Stephanie Murphy, Megan McCurdy Niedens and Joy Scott are beginning three-year terms on the Catholic Charities Board of Directors, according to Traci Kennedy, executive director. The new members will attend their first board meeting Aug. 23.
Dugan is a manager at Pinion, the company formerly known as KCoe Isom, and holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Wichita State University. He and his wife, Jackie, are parents to daughter, Ellen, and live in Maize. They are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Murphy is assistant vice president and client relationship manager at 6 Meridian. She earned a bachelor’s in finance from Wichita State. She and her husband, Todd, are parents to Madison Bulloch (Tyler), Kirk and Grayson. They are members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Niedens is chief operating officer and auctioneer at McCurdy Real Estate & Auction. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Wichita State. She and her husband, John, are parents to son, Maverick, and are members of Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church.
Scott is president of Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita. She earned degrees at Wichita State (associate’s, physical therapy assistant), Friends University (bachelor’s in organizational management and leadership) and Western Governors University (master of business administration. She and her husband, Jon, are parents of Kayla, Sabryn, Ashtyn and Adisyn. They live in Colwich and are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.




Catholic Charities is guided by a board of directors that represents donors and the community, and actively supports the agency’s mission. Each is formally invited by The Most Reverend Carl A. Kemme, Bishop of Wichita, to serve on Catholic Charities’ board. Directors share their areas of expertise with Catholic Charities and take the lead in setting strategic priorities for the organization.
