Weigand-Omega Management and Omega Senior Living communities have launched their 7th annual Cupboards of Care/Share the Love food drive. The drive, which began Feb. 1 and continues through Feb. 28, aims to collect non-perishable food items and supplies to benefit Our Daily Bread Food Pantry at Catholic Charities. The drive is part of the “My Neighbor’s Keeper” initiative, the company’s national community involvement program.

Join Weigand-Omega in supporting the pantry

Donations can be dropped off at the Weigand-Omega Management corporate office located at 333 S. Broadway in Wichita. Additionally, donations can be brought to any Weigand-Omega or Omega Senior Living managed property in Wichita. Collection boxes are located in the reception office and donations are accepted during regular office hours until 5 p.m., Feb. 28.

Supporting a cause for the greater good

“The pantries nationwide have a constant need for filing. The Cupboards of Care food drive is a way to collectively harness the goodwill of our associates, residents, commercial tenants, hotel guests and vendors to support a cause for the greater good,” says Craig Hanson, the Weigand-Omega Management and Omega Senior Living chief executive officer.

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry at Catholic Charities serves as many as 800 or more families each month, providing each with two-three days’ worth of food. The pantry is located at 2825 S.
