No one should face hunger alone. Our Daily Bread Food Pantry provides supplemental food assistance to anyone in the greater Wichita area who needs it, often due to illness, job loss or unexpected crisis.
Summer should be a time of fun and freedom for children, but for many families, it also means the loss of school meals and added pressure on already stretched budgets. As the need for food assistance increases this summer, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry is working to ensure families have access to nutritious food when they need it most. Through the pantry, families receive approximately three days’ worth of food for the month to help bridge the gap.
You can help by donating items or hosting a food drive at work, in your neighborhood or at your church. Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off 24/7 at the food bin located at 2825 S. Hillside St. Monetary donations also make a powerful impact, allowing us to purchase food at discounted prices and stretch every dollar further. When you give financially, you help us provide even more meals. Let us do the shopping so families can continue to receive the support they need.

We are grateful to our friends at St. Francis of Assisi and the kindergarten students at Magdalen Catholic School, who helped stock the shelves during Lent and throughout the spring.
Would you like to select a month to host your own food drive and make a difference in our community this summer? Contact Christopher Acton at CActon@CatholicCharitiesWichita.org or (316) 264-8344, ext. 1262 for more information.
