Queen Bee
The Queen Bee: A peer-to-peer female-led fundraiser for families in shelter
This year’s Queen Bee campaign has ended. The Queen Bees raised $192,823 in the six-week campaign from Oct. 1 through Nov. 11.

At the celebration honoring the Queen Bees, Katie Brewer was crowned as the 2025 Woman of the Year.

About Queen Bee
Since 2017, the Queen Bee campaign has called attention to the inspiring professional and philanthropic work of women in our community, while also raising money to support the residents of Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter and St. Anthony Family Shelter.
The initiative honors influential women and provides the community with an opportunity to bring hope, strength and resiliency to those seeking safe haven in our shelters.
Every gift to the Queen Bee campaign honors a local female leader and brings safety, dignity and shelter to families and individuals in need. Every contribution empowers parents and children in shelter programs to grow beyond circumstances, to dream, work toward a better future and ultimately, take flight—much like the bumblebee.
