Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

Catholic Charities’ Supportive Services for Veteran Families is honored to assist the men and women who served our country in the military by assisting low income veterans and their families who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. We help veterans residing in a 25-county area of southcentral and southeastern Kansas.

Counties served through the SSVF ministry.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

Catholic Charities’ Supportive Services for Veteran Families is honored to assist the men and women who served our country in the military by assisting low income veterans and their families who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Assistance:

Funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, Supportive Services for Veteran Families helps qualified veterans and their families with:

  • Homeless prevention services
  • Rental assistance
  • Coordination of mainstream and veterans benefits
  • Landlord/tenant mediation
  • Health care navigation
  • Legal assistance funds
  • Transportation assistance
  • Case management services for long-term housing stability
