Catholic Charities Diocese of Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. – The Robin Plaza, located at Central and Tyler, will be hosting a Holiday Extravaganza from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21.  As part of the event, partnering stores will collect canned food items and monetary donations to benefit Catholic Charities Help Center food pantry and the Kansas Food Bank.

It is will be a festive occasion!

  • Photos with Santa Claus from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • B-98 will be broadcasting live at the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

Store windows will be festive too as the plaza is holding a window decorating contest. The idea to hold the Holiday Extravaganza is sponsored by West Wichita Therapeutic Message, Holy Trinity Books and Gifts, Littells Design Studio, Bellagente Salon, Stoneware Studio, and Motor City Kansas. 

Food items needed include canned vegetables and fruit, tuna, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, pasta, rice, tomato sauce, ramen noodles, cereal, beans, boxed dinners, and soup.

Bring the family for a great time and bring canned food to help others this Holiday Season.
