Adult Day Services Hosts Client Chili Cook Off « Catholic Charities Wichita ā€“ Providing Help, Creating Hope

Adult Day Services hosted a client Chili Cook-Off. Clients worked all month long on their prize chili recipes. During the month the clients went from creating the recipe, naming the recipe, shopping for the ingredients and preparing the ingredients the day of the cook-off. A simple idea made an entire month of fun activities for our clients and then brought them to the day that their creation would be judged by professionals and people they really cared about while waiting for the results of their work. It was fun and we are looking forward to our 2nd chili cook-off with experience behind us.
