Catholic Charities Adoption Support Group for Birth Parents offers support to birth families pre and post adoption.  Parents or families will gain support from others in a similar situation and learn more about the lifelong journey of adoption.  Birth Parents will also identify the core issues of adoption and how they affect each member of the adoption triad: child, adoptive parents, and birth parents.  Birth Parents can receive education on post-adoption skills and services that are necessary to help birth families successfully deal with their grief and build successful relationship with the birth child.  The Catholic Charities Adoption Support Group meets on Monday evenings from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at 425 N.
