Catholic Charities Diocese of Wichita

Needs Lists

In addition to monetary donations, Catholic Charities programs need in-kind donations (or donated items) throughout the year to better provide for our clients and keep operating costs at a minimum. If you have further questions about in-kind donations or would like to host a drive to gather items, please reach Nicole Lloyd, Special Events Coordinator at (316) 264-8344, ext. 1221 or nlloyd@catholiccharitieswichita.org for more information.

Needs Lists can be found by clicking on the program you would like to give to on the left or listed here.

Items we are not equipped to accept may be needed by other organizations in our community. Here are a few suggestions.

Catholic Charities programs are unable to accept large donations like furniture items or appliances. Please consider donating these items to His Helping Hands, a ministry operated by Central Christian Church. They can be reached at (316) 838-8528. Catholic Charities clients are able to access services from this organization so any donations of furniture and appliances they receive are greatly appreciated by both organizations.

In addition to large items such as furniture and appliances, Catholic Charities programs are without a place to wash and sanitize used clothing. Please consider sending all clothing donations to the United Methodist Open Door Klothes Kloset. This ministry offers a retail store setting, but is at no cost to clients. Once a month, clients can receive free clothing for their families. The Klothes Kloset can be reached at (316) 265-1670. It is located at 228 S Ellis Street.

Car donations may be given to Holy Savior Catholic Academy’s St. Vincent De Paul Society Cars for the Poor Program. This program takes in vehicles of all conditions and is able to fix them into working condition and pass them on to clients in need at no cost or a minimal cost that remains well below fair market value. Please contact Tom at (316) 208-4090 for more information.
