Comprehensive Services
Catholic Charities Adult Day Services’ mission is to enhance the quality of life for adults with special needs and disabilities through activities and opportunities that maintain their independence in the community. Our services and programming include the following.
Activities
Activities are designed to meet individual needs while promoting socialization, self-worth, dignity and independence. Clients meet regularly with staff to participate in the selection and planning process. A wide variety of activities are provided to enhance the quality of life. These include, but are not limited to:

Care Coordination
Care Coordination helps the person and his or her support network to identify, select, obtain, coordinate and use available paid services and natural supports to maintain independence, integration and productivity as outlined in each individual’s support/care plan. Services provided by the case manager include:
• Assessments • Advocacy • Support Planning • Support Coordination • Assistance with Transition of Services
Transportation
Transportation is provided to and from the center for people who live within the Wichita city limits and qualify for this service. It is also provided for all agency-related activities in the community.
Nursing Services
A Registered Nurse assists clients with medication administration and monitoring, health assessments, wellness monitoring, and referrals to local health agencies. Nursing support also assists with restoring, maintaining and enhancing activities for daily living.
Nutrition
Two nutritious meals and an afternoon snack are provided each day. Special meals are also available for people who have dietary restrictions or requirements.
